On Monday, Britney Spears’ new legal counsel filed a motion in court, less than a month after Spears broke her quiet on the conservatorship, calling it “abusive.”Britney Spears has filed a legal request to have her father removed as her conservator. Her father has been in control of her life and finances for the past 13 years.
Britney stated she wants her father’s conservatorship revoked because he “works me so hard” and threatens to punish her if she doesn’t obey his orders. Jamie Spears has denied any allegations of domestic violence and expressed fear for her daughter’s safety.

Jamie Spears’ replacement is expected to be the first step in a complete legal examination of the conservatorship.
Britney’s conservatorship was established in 2008, after her father requested that the court grant legal authority over her daughter’s life and finances due to her health difficulties.
Mr Rosengart, a veteran government prosecutor, took over as Britney’s lawyer just two weeks ago, and a motion to remove him from his conservatorship post was filed barely two weeks afterwards.
