With the covid taking the second wave and states imposing lockdown, it’s time again to start with unlocking slowly and steadily. Just the way shops and stores are opening-up one by one, it is expected that the cinema theatres would also regain its huste bustle. But still there will be a fear among people, as in if they would be carefree enough to enjoy in the darkness all around. These were the view of Shefali Shah on the opening of theatres anytime soon.

“Honestly, I don’t even know when we can go back to a theatre without being in tension. I really don’t know. Even after it opens, people would hesitate to go. I know I would have my hesitations Unless they are going to leave two seats between every seat. But even that isn’t good . It’s a confined space right. I would be tensed about going to a theatre (at least for sometime)”, Shefali said.

However Shefali feels that during such situation, OTT platforms like Disney Hotstar, AMazon Prime, Netlflix has become everyone’s best friend.
