In the first effort, he threw 60.29 metres, but in the second attempt, the disc threw 63.97 metres. The women’s discus throw final will now take place on August 2. Valari Allman of America took first place in her group with a discus throw of 66.42 metres, while Kamalpreet Kaur came in second.
