Kamalpreet Kaur comes from Badal village in Jab’s Sri Muktsar Sahib district. He had no interest in studies as a child. He began to think of himself as an athlete in 2012. In her maiden state meet, Kamalpreet had placed fourth. Kamalpreet revealed in an interview that he only decided to pursue a career as an athlete at the urging of his original coach. Kaur began to take her training more seriously in the year 2014. His initial training took place in a centre run by the Sports Authority of India (SAI) in his hamlet. Kaur’s career took off quickly as a result of her dedication.
