Outside of Captain America, Evans’ performance in Rian Johnson’s 2019 murder mystery is one of his best. Ransom Drysdale, the obnoxiously rich playboy in the film, showcases the actor’s impressive range, as opposed to his stiff-upper-lipped Marvel persona.
If Ransom was involved in the murder of Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer), it is because he has being denied his inheritance, which makes him the film’s major antagonist.

In Lightyear, Evans will be able to display his versatility once again, but in a more kid-friendly capacity. In light of the positive response from Marvel fans, it is safe to assume that the Lightyear teaser will contain allusions to Chris Evans’ past appearances, such as the eccentric Ransom Drysdale in The Avengers.
Now that the first teaser trailer has been out, fans can expect to see more artwork inspired by the next animated film, which will be in theaters on June 17, 2022
