The second season of Netflix’s Fate: The Winx Saga has begun filming. The teen drama is based on Nickelodeon’s Winx Club, an animated series about Bloom, a fairy warrior who joins Alfea College to further her abilities.

The live-action adaptation boasts a cast of characters based on the main characters from Winx Club, although it takes a very different approach to Alfea College than the animated version. Brian Young, best renowned for his work on The Vampire Diaries, added the same edge to Fate: The Winx Saga’s production.
Throughout the day, the video follows several cast members on set as they express their excitement for the upcoming season. The camera also passes over the name badges of some of the new cast members, including Paulina Chávez, who plays Flora, a character who was missed by many fans in season 1.
